  • A Cognitive Femtocell can be defined as a cognitive radio (CR) enabled
    Femtocell. The concept of Cognitive Femtocell is becoming a promising approach
    to enabling multi-tiered opportunistic access in next generation cellular
    broadband wireless systems. Regarding to finding the spectrum opportunities in
    Cognitive Femtocell Networks, there are numerous sensing methods that can be
    applied depending on the system requirements and network architecture. For
    example local sensing could be used in Femtocell base stations, or exchanged
    sensing data of neighbours could also be used. Moreover, sensing could be
    conducted synchronously in the network, or each component could perform sensing
    on its own schedule.

    This project requires you to understand the cognitive femcell concept and
    propose a new approach to the cognitive femtocell in LTE.

    二、設計實現與仿真說明

    2.1 仿真準備

    根據課題的任務要求,整個課題可以分為三個部分:

    第一:資料的研究;

    第二:對論文中所提算法的仿真,這個部分將使用MATLAB進行仿真;

    第三:對femtocell的算法和沒有femtocell的macrocell的原算法進行對比。

    因此,Femtocell進行頻譜感知的目的就是檢測出哪些信道被干擾范圍之內的宏系統用戶所應用,從而避開這些信道。檢測的方法主要是通過檢測在
    上行信道接收到的宏系統用戶的能量來判斷其是否處于Femtocell系統的干擾范圍之內。

    通常,頻譜感知技術的基本結構模型如下所示:

    圖中,空心三角形為宏基站,實心三角形為fetmo基站,小的空心圓為宏用戶,實心圓為femto用戶。

    2.2 仿真要點
